Today we are happy to introduce the latest installation in our collaborative series with Obstructures. This is the 0xEAE fuzz: our most dangerous gain device yet. This is not a classic or friendly fuzz. This is for when you want to sound like an angle grinder or an accident at a smelting plant.

This fuzz features >80dB of raw gain which can be shaped by a versatile low frequency Weight slider. Its centerpiece is the Texture control, which blends an analog octave up in parallel before the gain circuit for searing overtones, heavy sub-bass artifacts, and scrambled intermodulation.

All of this is housed in a custom-cast neo-brutalist enclosure created by the industrial design masterminds at Obstructures. Each faceplate is hand-dipped in acid for a uniquely corroded finish that makes no two units alike.

The 0xEAE Fuzz is available starting now through our website and dealers. Order yours at https://www.electronicaudioexperiments.com/pedals/

Hey folks, John here. As you can see we haven't been on here very often. I'm having a lot of technical difficulties with this site and there's a complete lack of customer support.

Back in Fall 2019 or so I wanted to focus on finishing grad school, so I deleted my personal facebook account and handed the keys of the EAE page to a trusted friend. Since moving to this business full time, I since regained access. But now facebook has shut down the account I use to manage this page and a bunch of features are restricted. I tried to appeal, sent them my driver's license and everything, but no dice.

I recognize I might be screaming into the void here but if anybody knows how to navigate this stuff, I'd be much obliged.

Lots of new demos this week. We had a run of Daggers in a unique bronze finish go out to dealers, and to celebrate the occasion our friend Ryan made a demo. In a word: it's smooooooth.

Check it out:

Well, you can call me an opportunist. I really wanted to try a Dagger and EAE happens to be introducing a new slick Bronze finish, so I got one on the channe...

John here - when I was in Minneapolis this past June, I got to film a Coffee and Riffs episode with the Old Blood Noise Endeavors crew at chase bliss HQ! Did some ambient improv and we chatted about pedals for a bit. Very good stuff. Big thanks to OBNE for having me on!

In June of 2022, OBNE went to Minneapolis, MN for Pedal Lab, a pedal pop-up curated by Chase Bliss. While we were in town we spent a day with the CB crew and...

Fresh batch of treble knives is now live!

The 0xEAE Boost is the first entry in a new pedal series developed in conjunction with the design collective Obstructures . The 0xEAE collaboration began as an indestructible enclosure created in the distinct, utilitarian-yet-elevated visual language of Obstructures, culminating in a neo-brutalist

I'll be honest in saying that I didn't know what to expect from the Model FET. I don't know what a Sunn Model T sounds like. What I do know if that I know Jo...

We make a lot of drive pedals. As our lineup becomes more available, it can be hard to decide which is the best for you. So I wrote a broad overview of our lineup. Enjoy!

As our pedal lineup expands and our various offerings become more regularly available, we’ve received a steady stream of questions from folks who need help deciding which of our drive pedals is the right fit. If you’re one of those people, this post is for you!
