4 projects to talk about this week and I'm having so much fun with them! If you come to Boston Fiber Festival this weekend, you'll be able to see if I actually finish that purple scarf 👀

2. Rebellious Scarf by , using Merino Worsted in "Brad's Hat"
3. Ladybug Scarf (free pattern!) by using Claws Out Whisker DK in "Lupine Meadow"
4. Patagonia Peaks Lite by .tinks using Cashmere DK in "No Big Dill" (got the name wrong oops) and other colors to come

It was really satisfying to frog all that colorwork, and it only took like 30 minutes? As soon as I saw this designer using AI to write her patterns (embarrassing!! tomato tomato!!) I knew I was never going to finish the sweater, so I took matters into my own hands!!! Yarn is all Cashmere DK, new pattern is Patagonia Peaks Lite by .tinks

It's Mercer Pullover day! I got to test this pattern for tori yu and as you can tell by the fold down the middle, I liked it so much it came to Alaska in my suitcase. I love that this pattern calls for a light gauge, it makes it more accessible for layering! I used my own colorway "Where's the Met?" held double on my Whisker Fi*****ng and Classic Suri Lace bases, making this my latest Claws Out yarn sample. I made the sleeveless option in size 3, using 133g of Whisker fi*****ng and 72g of Classic Suri Lace (more details in my Ravelry project). Go get yours now!

WIP WEDNESDAY 9/2/26 ⭐️
First WIP update of September! I am thrilled to announce I already cast on some of my Alaska yarn 😂 I went with a scarf to keep myself from immediately starting a new sweater, and I really love it. I'm also making decent progress on my Bloodroot Tee, and my Lanolines Sweater is almost done except I lost travel yarn chicken!
• Rebellious Scarf by using Merino Worsted in "Brad's Hat"
• Bloodroot Tee by .gaughan.knits using Claws Out Housecat BFL in "Honey Honey", "Our Last Summer", and "Waterloo"
• Lanolines Sweater by using Claws Out Whisker DK in unreleased colors (sorry!!)
And I'll be using Whisker DK in "Lupine Meadow" to make the Ladybug Scarf by soon!!

Prosecco on da couch because I am officially Claws Out Yarn Co. LLC! My business is (finally) formally registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and this whole self-employed thing is now a legal entity 🥹 it feels wild to be in this place, I'm so proud of myself for taking the leap and making yarn my full time gig. On today, the first day of my birthday month, right before a whirlwind few weeks of festivals and markets, I legally became a business owner! Thank you JPNDC for your accessible and affordable small business services, I love you for a long time 🩵

Alaska yarn haul just dropped! I got to visit 4 yarn stores and came away with 15 skeins of yarn this trip 👀 even as a yarn dyer myself, I really love supporting other dyers and buying local yarn when I travel! I'm so excited for my fish sweater and that cozy green scarf - it's going to be so exciting to have these memories wrapped up in projects going forward!

(Pls clap I've officially made 4 of these videos) still working on just a hat and a sweater but they both look different now! I moved on to Alaska yarn for my hat and I think it looks so beautiful 🌊🪸 and my sweater is ready for sleeve island!
