Auction haul scores with Masters of the Universe, a signed Neal Adams comic, and classic 1950s card games.

One look at this photo and you're instantly transported back to a time when imagination had no limits. Masters of the Universe shares the spotlight with vintage clowns, wind-up babies, classic card games, and the incredible 3¾-inch Adventure People figures from Fisher-Price.

It's amazing how these toys and collectibles fueled countless adventures across living room floors for generations, and now they've found a home alongside the rest of our collection.

From the power of Eternia to the thrill of discovering a new comic at the local shop, every piece here tells a story. A signed comic by Neal Adams adds another layer of history to the mix. These weren't just toys and collectibles. They were gateways to entire worlds where heroes battled villains, monsters roamed distant lands, and every kid could create their own epic saga.

A time when Saturday mornings mattered, action figures never stayed on the shelf for long, and imagination was the greatest superpower of all.

1983 Meatballs & Spaghetti Cartoon Intro CBS Saturday Mornings

Do you remember Meatballs & Spaghetti?

This quirky animated series aired on CBS Saturday mornings from September 18, 1982, through September 10, 1983. Produced by Marvel Productions and Intermedia Entertainment Company, it was part of CBS's Saturday morning lineup alongside game show favorite Starcade.

Although the series only lasted 25 episodes and never became a major hit, it remains a fascinating piece of Saturday morning cartoon history.

Trivia:

The show followed Meatballs & Spaghetti, a husband-and-wife musical duo who traveled the country in a motorhome with their friend Clyde and their dog Woofer. Together they performed as a band, with Clyde on bass and Woofer on drums.

It was one of the last Saturday morning cartoons to use a laugh track.

Ron Masak voiced Meatballs. Many fans know him from Murder, She Wrote, and he was even offered a contract by the Chicago White Sox when he was just 16 years old.

Sally Julian voiced Spaghetti and also appeared in Philip Marlowe, Private Eye, Hunter, and Knight Rider.

Frank Welker voiced Woofer. His legendary career spans more than five decades and includes hundreds of voice acting credits including Scooby Doo and Slimer.

Barry Gordon voiced Clyde. In addition to serving as President of the Screen Actors Guild, he provided voices for countless Hanna-Barbera productions throughout the 1970s and 1980s.

No official DVD release of Meatballs & Spaghetti has ever been issued but some streaming services do have the show.

Below is the intro to the series. Enjoy the nostalgia and Be a Kid Again....

Today was my lucky day! Boss Fight Studio sent over production samples of their new Garfield's Halloween Adventure figures, no doubt impressed with my ability to post about that particular cartoon no less than 500 times a year.

These are AWESOME. You get Garfield and Odie in their classic costumes, plus toon-accurate accessories. The figures are very posable, and bigger than I was expecting, too. The two-pack is available for preorder now, and shipping between July and September.

Auction and Trades with The Munsters and Welcome Back, Kotter

We had a very cool auction score this week with 4 of the 5 1976 Mattel Welcome Back Kotter figures on terrible cards but complete. Just missing John Travolta character Vinnie Barbarino for the full set.

Then at the we traded a graded Judge Rip night card for this awesome 1964 Munsters album from Decca.

All of these items are for sale but will be available at the Collectibles Show show on June 28, 2026.

This Weekend's Scores

Saturday was our 1st attempt to sell a huge sports card show and to be honest we did pretty well. We have always been able to cross over with collectibles but having a personal connection to baseball and sports cards since we were young.

We made a nice amount of money and did a few trades and bought a few cards from guests at the show and a few of our favorite vendors like and Jeff Phillips who runs the show. Some of the cards we will be reselling but the Yankees, LT and a few Jags cards will be in our personal collection.

Which card would you pick for you personal collection? Tell us below and Be A Kid Again....

Double Header with the for Solar Bears Night with NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning 2004 Stanley cup winner Eric Perrin.

We had a great time last Saturday Night at the updated Jackie Robinson Ballpark watching the Daytona Tortugas (Reds) and Tampa Tarpons (Yankees).

We picked the game since it was a Saturday and the team playing was the Yankees minor league team.

We knew it was Orlando Solar Bears night but we missed out on the giveaway but got to see two games for the price of one and saw NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning 2004 Stanley cup winner Eric Perrin wrist shot the 1st pitch. He was such a great guy he signed a team ball for us.

If you live in Central Florida, take a ride out to Daytona and check out this historic stadium and great baseball club and of course Be A Kid Again....
