One of the SIMPLEST hacks you can do to get more people in your booth…

Is work on whatever it is that you make AT your booth. People are *WAY* more interested in watching the process than a sign that says literally anything. (Especially price signs😂, no one reads them ever anyway!🤦🏽‍♀️)

And I know not everybody can do this- if you are a woodworker you obviously can’t bring out a sander 😂, but if you happen to have a craft you can do in person- DO IT.

It not only is interesting and enjoyable to watch, but people are curious and ask questions and they don’t feel as hesitant to walk into a booth where someone *isnt* paying attention to them directly. It’s a win-win.

It is much more awkward and intimidating to be just staring straight at a customer when they walk in, vs you working on your products, looking down and casually, looking up and smiling here and there to say hello. They feel much more comfortable in your area when the focus is off of them.

ALL toy refurbishments + customs are closed until mid January folks.

I am maxed out with refurbs right now for a 6 week wait list and I need to work on our incredibly busy Fall + Winter prep for Creative Collective Markets starting Sept. 26/27 and every weekend after till Halloween, and then IMMEDIATELY into a 3 day build for The Makers Show BOSTON SEAPORT Snowport Holiday market which is a 7 week (yes 7!) long DAILY holiday pop up on Boston.

Both shows take an incredible amount of prep so I’m sorry folks but I have to pull the plug early this season.

Let’s refurb’ a Stitch!

This guy had a VERY dirty, thick film of oil caked onto his nose from the owner who used essential oils frequently, and would rub his nose for lovin’s and hugs for anxiety relief, so his fur behaved a little bit differently than most as it had much heavier oils on him than an average plush toy would. But I still think he came out great, especially his nose!

I’m *attempting* to go in order through my camera roll of toy refurbishments I have done in the last few months but this was literally 2+ months ago, that’s how far behind I am in reels!😭🤦🏽‍♀️ So hopefully I can crank these videos out faster for all of you folks as you seem to be loving these!❤️

Wow, it has been a crazy month and a half for us. Aside from being super busy with refurbishments, weekend, markets, and wrapping up, we are now focusing in on our Kickstarter. You’ve all been waiting for, our favorite and busiest season of the year with in Salem for the whole month of October🎃, and then rolling right into Snowport 7 week long Holiday Market!❄️

We are thinking of some fun backer rewards for this Kickstarter, but I wanted to ask everyone, what are your favorite Kickstarter rewards to get? We know everybody loves stickers and enamel pins, but what else would you *LOVE* to get as a backer reward with this Kickstarter?

✨July Recap✨ Let’s Go!

Wowzas. What a fun and hectic July this was! Filled with toy refurbishments, weekend markets, a joint birthday cookout for myself (I turned 40! Woo!) and my niece Bella who turned 8 who was visiting from Texas with my sister, a super fun cousins family vacation where I actually got to have some fun for once lol, a steroid spine injection, and little Levi had his first surgery; he had his adenoids out. Hot damn, it’s been a busy few weeks!

I have SO MUCH FOOTAGE in my phone from toy refurbishments to show you all, I have just been so busy I can’t even get to making the reels!😂 So slowly but surely, I promise you I will show you all the cool toys I have had the pleasure of fixing up for people all over the country!

I think I’m going to stick a map of the United States in my studio and mark off each state I get a refurb from and see how long it takes me to get all 50 states!

This week we are packing up for so unfortunately, we won’t be at the Greenway this weekend, friends. But you can catch us Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the convention center for Fan Expo!

My Best Sellers so far this Summer Season! ✨

I still can’t believe what is happening with my toy refurbs right now. It is just BANANAS.🍌

I posted the first dog reel and had NO IDEA how much of an impact it would have on you guys. And DAILY I’m still getting emails, DM’s, and Facebook messages from people looking to have their beloved toys refurbished.

I can’t thank you all enough, this has literally done so much for me already, and it melts my heart that I get to help so many of you with cherished memories. Thank you so much friends. 🥹❤️🥳

I still want to remind everyone that I’m a toy designer FIRST. I just happen to also offer toy refurbishment. 🧵🪡✂️🫧🛁
