Hey hey hello out there! Long time no see!
Updates on the Market are as follows:
Our plan for Monthly Markets on the Mountain was thwarted just as it was all coming together by the sale of the facility. The facility is no longer offering rentable market space.
We had found an empty space, almost double the size of the old building, and were in negations with the property manager. The rent was acceptable, and we were waiting on final costs with the tenant association, property management, and NNN lease terms. The final costs per month, not including utilities, was 2X the rent. That development made it impossible to do, especially with the cost of having to build out the space.
To address a rumor going around, yes, moving out of the original building in Boulder City did turn into a medical issue, and that has since drastically improved. Thank you for those who knew and expressed concern. I can assure you the really good stuff was all removed and went with us!
With the very good likelihood that there is no practical way for us to be in a new location and open until after the New Year, we are going to be starting to work on the website again next week. For the start, we will be offering in person pick-up only either in Henderson (89014) or near Summerlin (89128). Furniture and larger items will remain as in person pick-ups only and other items will be ship-able within another month or so. We have thousands of items from multiple vendors to photograph and list, so please be patient with us!

The official closing schedule of Boulder City Antique Market's location at 1101 Arizona, in Boulder City, is as follows-

May 31-June 1 is the last weekend we are open as a fully stocked Market. Sales of 30-75% from select vendors continue throughout the weekend. Open the regular 10a-6p daily.

June 7 & 8 (Sat-Sun) we are open 10a- 6p. Furniture will be in from several vendors, cases and displays will be available, and some construction material will be available. Several vendors will still be here with items, and the ever-popular clearance sales will still be going on. Several vendors are bringing in larger items and bulk buys that they couldn't fit in their spaces earlier. While we don't have a full list yet of everything coming in we do know of several beds, dressers, desks, tables, end tables, hall tables, bookcases and at least three sets of chairs that will be available this weekend. A ton of artwork is also coming in.

June 14 & 15 (Sat-Sun) we are open 10a-6p. Multiple vendors will be presenting larger lots. This weekend is perfect for vendors in other markets looking for lots, those looking for full sets of something (china, tea sets, etc) and anyone looking for really great deals on remaining items. Multiple vendors will still have clearance items as well. Furniture again, along with book and display cases and some construction materials.

June 21 & 22 (Sat-Sun) we are open 10a-6pm. This is the last weekend we will be open to the public on site. All remaining items will be going, including construction materials, ladders, etc. Deep, deep sales on remaining vendor stocks.

June 30th the website will be live, orders can be placed, and information will be posted about our Mobile Markets starting in September or October. You can get a sneak peek at the website now but can't order yet. We are currently aiming for mobiles in several locations throughout Las Vegas, Henderson and surrounding areas. We are, however, taking July and August off of in person sales to finish projects, finish the websites, secure locations, and maybe, just maybe, relax a day or two. Online browsing and sales will available from June 30 on.

We're finally getting around to the official Facebook statement for the going-ons at Boulder City Antique Market.

Yes, we are vacating our primary location at 1101 Arizona Street in Boulder City. No, we are not going out of business, nor are our vendors. Ok, two are retiring but we think that's different.

To quell the more humorous of rumors, it was and was not our choice. We had an agreement with the original owner to purchase the building in 2022. He passed a few months before that time, and when time came to purchase the family refused to sell, They agreed to sell the building to us at the end of the next three-year lease period. When that time was due, they did not accept the prior agreed upon price with the original owner and the building was listed at nearly double that amount. We are not willing to pay that, and so we are vacating at the end of the lease. As far as we know there is a buyer, we have no idea what they are planning to do with the building but they did not want to discuss a lease that was acceptable to us. This all started on October 2024 so it was not a surprise to us or our vendors. The June move out is the natural termination of our five year lease.

We have exhausted all that Boulder City has to offer; there is no other space nearly this size available and we have not been able to arrange monthly markets thru the city, so we will be leaving Boulder City as our main location. We will continue to make attempts to be here for larger events and fairs. Our business going forward will remain Boulder City Antique Market wherever we are.

Our next post will have the closing procedure and timeline.

First Fall Event at The Market!
Saturday, September 28!
We will have four to five specialty vendors in with more products, and special one day sales throughout the store. Some booths and products will be up to fifty percent off!
We have confirmed that Jon, our glass encyclopedia of knowledge will be here with more specialty glass, research advise, demonstrations on different light wavelengths to identify glass types, and a wide range of glass to showcase different types such as depression, manganese, uranium in different colors, etc.
LC Rocks will be here doing live jewelry wrapping demonstrations, discussing stone types and meanings, showcasing their awesome jewelry and discussing their mission to bring the best of handmade jewelry and handpicked stones to you!
LV Sage will have some larger towers, geodes, shiva stones, and items not normally in their large booth. Come early for the best selection since they are also offering a sale on booth items as well!
Our newest vendor CS Records will be here to discuss all things music and will have lots of special offers on tap. We expect this booth will be hopping as always!
Our Pyrex specialist and avid collector will be in her booth with lots of collector's patterns, advise on research and collectors' clubs and shows. She'll be bringing and offering rare and hard to find sets and collectors pieces for sale along with offering a booth discount on her other products!
The Market will have several booths and product lines on sale, including some DEEP discounts on furniture for the weekend as we prepare for Art In The Park next weekend!
As always, we are open 10a-6pm daily!
