✨ Happy 10/10 Portal! ✨

With the Libra New Moon approaching, I’ve been thinking about what balance and harmony really mean.

It’s not always about everything being peaceful and pretty. Sometimes it’s about looking at the truth in our relationships, acknowledging the resentment, old hurts, or things we’ve been avoiding, and being willing to have those uncomfortable conversations.

First comes the discomfort, then the conversation, and hopefully, if everyone is willing to do their part, a little more understanding and a cleaner agreement. Not perfect. Just better.

After all, we’re sharing this gorgeous planet together. We might as well figure out how to get along and make it a better place for all of us. 💛

And since some of these conversations might get a little messy, we might as well have great hair while we’re having them! 😂

I completely forgot Boulderthon was happening today and came into the shop expecting a nice, slow Sunday… 😂

SURPRISE! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️✨ Boulder is out and about today! With the Boulderthon marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K happening and runners finishing right here in downtown Boulder, there’s a whole lot more energy in town than I expected.

Open Light Energy is sending a HUGE thank you to David Trahan Living Altar who shared his beautiful energy and skill on Wednesday evening with community as we gathered for The Art & Practice of Altar Creation.

With the upcoming lunar eclipse as our backdrop, we reflected on the endings, beginnings, transformations and releases that have been surfacing during eclipse season, then brought those intentions into the creation of our own personal altars. 🌙

It was beautiful to see how unique each altar became. Sacred space is deeply personal and there is no one “right” way to create it.

🍂 Our next Altar Creation Workshop is Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30–8:30 PM, as we welcome the Fall Equinox and the seasonal turning toward Samhain.

Space is intentionally limited to 5 participants, so please reserve your spot early.
