Today was a busy day at the shop! First the riders of the Big BAM stopped by this morning, then a couple of gentlemen from Italy came by as they toured Route 66 in the opposite direction, traveling from Chicago to LA!

simonebelleggia was having some issues with shifting that we were able to clear up for him so he will hopefully have a smooth journey! Best of luck and safe travels to our new Italian friends, Simone and Nazzareno!

We had a great time supporting the riders of the Big BAM this morning as they rolled through Bourbon.

Today marks their last day of a 6 day Route 66 journey from Joplin to Pacific. This morning, cyclists started at Hood Park, with Bourbon Cyclery being their first official water stop for the day.

We wish these riders a great day of riding to complete their adventure!

Joe finished his record setting ride this afternoon! He has reached the end of Route 66 in Chicago after 10 days & 10hrs on the Mother Road! A huge congrats goes out to Joe and his team for such an incredible feat.

Ultra endurance cyclist, Joe Barr rode through Bourbon this evening on his record setting ride along Route 66, and we cheered him on from right behind Bourbon Cyclery!

Joe, who turns 67 on Saturday, is on his way to becoming the first rider in history to complete the entire length of Route 66, Santa Monica, CA to Chicago, IL non-stop by bicycle!
