Bates Corporation has been selling new, used, and rebuilt International Harvester and Case IH tractor parts since 1965. What started as a cattle farm and trucking operation in Bourbon, Indiana turned into one of the largest IH parts distributors in the country. Built by Jay Bates, carried forward by his family, and still run out of the same small town sixty years later. We stock over 50,000 parts

and answer every phone call ourselves. Our family understands the quality farmers demand, because we farm too.

Happy Farmall Friday! Today we're highlighting this International 1468 submitted by Stan Penke. Built in Rock Island, Illinois from 1971 to 1974, the 1468 was one of only two International tractors to ship with a V8 under the hood, alongside its bigger brother the 1568. While most tractors of this era ran inline sixes, the 1468 packed a 550 cubic inch V8 putting out around 145 horsepower. International Harvester didn't build many, which makes a clean one like this a rare find today.

Have you ever seen an ID-6 before? Due to the fact that the ID-6 shared a rolling serial number pool with the standard W-6s at the Rock Island plant, there isn’t an official record of how many were built.

Happy...International Friday? Today we're highlighting this 5288 submitted by Craig Kreuscher. Built in Rock Island, Illinois from 1981 until 1985, the higher-horsepower 88 series tractors were the last International Harvester tractors built before the Case IH merge.
