Shasta Sweets & Gifts Gift and Sweet Shop inside Northfield Square Mall Our story

In 1939, Maurice and Norma Ball opened the Mt. Shasta Lodge in the town of Michigamme, Michigan.

Maurice and Norma were committed to providing quality items at a fair price and with great service to their customers. While they have since passed, their legacy has carried on and the restaurant still stands in its original location on US 41, near the shore of Lake Michigamme. Shasta Sweets & Gifts is committed to the same exceptional service and quality for their customers. Our sweet treats are

made using original recipes from Norma and the Mt. Shasta Lodge. In many cases, these recipes are over 100 years old. It’s important to us that our customers feel like family and can have the ‘just like Grandma used to make’ touch. We hope you enjoy your shopping experience with us.
