🚨 Proper Hull Prep Before Super Slick Application 🚨
For anyone thinking about doing their own Super Slick 2K application, here’s a MAJOR tip for proper installation.
In the first portion of this video, you’ll notice when I sand the hull it appears white—this is NOT properly sanded. That’s simply the original clear coat of the ski.
The correct preparation process requires sanding past the clear coat, and removing the primary color of your ski until you achieve a uniform, smooth, flat gray finish across the entire hull.
It doesn’t matter what color your hull is, black, white, blue, whatever… in order to properly sand prior to a SS2K application, you will always need to get down to that smooth flat gray.
