Sunflower Update:
If you haven't been following along...the girls and I found a random sunflower volunteer this spring in a very small garden bed by the garage. We decided to leave it be and see what kind of sunflower it would become...after all we did have a few fun varieties last year. Well a couple of weeks ago we posted a picture of the girls stacked shoulder ontop of shoulder, and that sunflower was STILL taller than all three girls combined! It is not a variety that we grew last year, it is entirely something new to us. It is stunning!
Today all the flowers are finally open. I have to say it is probably one of the most magical things I have encountered in a long time. It's such an amazing symbol of life, joy, and hope. And to be able to share this beauty with my girls-even better. Enjoy a little sunshine! 🌻

U-Pick Tonight! 8/28 6pm- sunset. Another beautiful evening to pick the summer kissed flowers! The cooler nights are definitely ushering in a new season. But with autumn around the corner we still have some beautiful jems waiting to be found in the garden! Grab a friend and come enjoy creating a bouquet! $30 per adult picker $15 per child 10&under. We provide the vase and the clippers. Please use the field approach located just south of our driveway at the top of the hill on 71. See you in the field!

The girls wanted to show off their giant sunflower! Which just so happens to be a random volunteer we decided to let grow in the front garden. We had NO idea how big this thing would get. With all three girls stacked (and Dad behind as a spotter) the flower is still double their height!! Guys, this thing is massive and has magically weathered every summer storm.... maybe it's a sign to keep shining, to bloom where you are planted, and to reach for the stars. It hasn't bloomed yet but when it does I'll be sure to share!

You all are too sweet! Thank you for your support of our farm, we are deeply grateful for all of you! The dahlia arrangements sold out fast yesterday so if you tried to come out, and didn't get one I just restocked it with a few more this morning. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Have a great Sunday!
