Question for our blackpowder shooting friends.
Caps are getting harder and harder to find. I recently found a source for number 11 percussion caps but they are double the cost of what we used to get from Midway. What is the most you would pay for 100 caps? Current price is $13 (but I can no longer get CCI caps). I don’t want to purchase them if they aren’t re-sellable.

As much as I hate to have to do this our prices for arrows are going up. As long as we’ve been doing this we’ve had no increase in price. But collective costs of materials have gone up almost 20%. Fletches the worst at an almost 30% increase.
New orders will be priced at $100 per dozen. Shipping is out of hand as well. Shipping changed last January and now goes by size. A dozen arrows in box weighs only 1.6 pounds but because the box is 36 inches long the shipping is $26.55

Shafts shafts everywhere. I need to get busy making arrows. Shafts on the drying rack, more in the sanding pile. In the box sorted need to have nocks cut. I’ve got my work cut out for me.
