We are so thankful for all the support we’ve had from the community, including our market customers, farming friends, and the various agencies involved in supporting local agriculture. This attempt at returning to my farming roots has set our family on a path to farm full time - something that sounded like a dream just a few years ago.

So it’s time to say goodbye to the Belair Blooms Flower Farm name. We created the name based on where it started, with backyard raised bed growing in an urban setting on Belair Drive in Bowie. We have since transitioned to Mosaic Farm, our 10 acre farm in Upper Marlboro, maturing into a full farm operation with crops, cut flowers, sheep, alpacas, hazelnuts, and extensive diversified operations.

Rainbows of blooms this week!!!

Come to the Crofton Farmers Market this weekend for florist quality jar arrangements and bouquets. These are the same quality stems we sell wholesale to our professional florists, brought to you direct to consumer at the market. Grab some flowers on your way in, or your way out before we sell out!

We had very cold temps last night, but I’m over here harvesting flowers! We did an experiment to force tulips early by growing them protected in bulb crates and look what we got! I harvested these beauties today. Ready to get to work back out in the field!

Did a little wreath workshop for some teachers at my sons elementary school. They just paid a little for wire and the base and I donated my time and all the materials. They have such a hard job with a low budget and I know we as parents are so appreciative of all they do. ❤️ It was a really nice time!
