I am passionate about my walk with the Lord. My desire is to be used by Him to build His kingdom here on earth. My life changed significantly and for the good when I retired from the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2019 after spending 20 years doing social science research. I then made another drastic change in 2020 when I resigned from serving as an adjunct professor at a local university in Ma

I am now mostly doing what I have dabbled in a bit over the past few years but have always wanted to do more, and that is to write books to edify the body of Christ and equip the saints. I write to challenge and inspire Christian believers to move beyond the norm. I earned my doctorate in child psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park. I tend to blend my knowledge of psychology with ministry as I often find myself addressing emotional issues in the church.

Time devoted to planning for tomorrow is time well spent. Time devoted to worrying about tomorrow is time wasted. Sometimes it's difficult to tell the difference. Careful planning is thinking ahead about goals, steps, and schedules and trusting in God's guidance. When done well, planning helps alleviate worry. Worrying, by contrast, consumes us with anxiety and makes it difficult for us to trust God. Worriers let their obsession with plans and outcomes interfere with their relationship with God. Don't let worries about tomorrow affect your relationship with God today.

Stop pretending that you are satisfied with a shallow surface level faith when your soul is crying out for more. Stop pretending that religion is enough when you were created for relationship. Stop pretending that you can live without God when every fiber of your being was designed to walk with Him. Stop settling for programs when He offers you His presence. Stop settling for sermons when He offers you His voice. Stop settling for secondhand testimonies when He offers you firsthand encounters. Stop settling for a form of godliness when He offers you the fullness of His spirit. Stop settling for survival when He offers you abundant life.

Choose God above all else. Place Him above your career, your dreams, your ambitions, your comfort, your relationships, and even your own life. Let nothing compete with your devotion to Him.
Make Him the center of your life and the foundation of every decision. Seek Him first each day and keep Him foremost in your heart. Let every breath be a prayer and every moment an opportunity to draw closer to Him.
Pursue Him wholeheartedly, love Him supremely, and follow Him faithfully. When God is first, everything else falls into its proper place.
