What if rest wasn't something you had to earn? 

National Black Girl Day Off, observed annually on October 11, was created in 2020 by Houston-area founder Tomeka Casanova during the COVID-19 pandemic. She created the day to encourage Black women to step away from the constant demands of life and intentionally prioritize their mental health, joy, and physical rest.

This year, The Giver 7 is honoring the day through Choose H.E.R. | Honor. Empower. Restore. We are creating an intentional wellness experience that helps Black women, particularly caregivers and women carrying significant responsibilities, pause and prioritize their whole-person health.

We're focusing on practical ways to HONOR your body, EMPOWER yourself as an advocate for your health, and RESTORE through intentional care.
Because sometimes the strongest thing you can do is stop, breathe, and choose yourself.
