We ❤️ being part of the Warren County Public Library family!

🎂Happy 5th birthday to our friends at Capitol Books, the charming (gently) used book store at the Capitol. Staffed by Friends of the Library Warren County volunteers, the downtown store provides a peaceful browsing experience with a great selection of like-new book titles, as well as puzzles and some media. On any given day between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. (and during some special weekend / evening events), you'll see parents and grandparents reading together in the children's area along with readers of all ages browsing the shelves for well-priced treasures. Proceeds of the sales ultimately benefit the Warren County Public Library, as the Friends group supports special projects and library programs all year long. Happy birthday, FRIENDS!

NOTE: While it's normally open every week day, this week the store will be closed Thursday, as the Capitol is closing so that its staff can work the Summer Reading Program's "Legendary Party" at Ephram White Park.

REMINDER: The Capitol Bookstore (along w/ the other library locations) will be closed today (Friday, 12/26). Make plans after the holiday break to spend some quality time at the store like this sweet grandpa and granddaughter recently did! Buying books at this Friends of the Library run store supports WCPL! The store's regular hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. If you ever need to reach them, the store's phone number is 270-904-6030.

*The Capitol will be open Friday for the Warming Movie Marathon.
