I’ve been trying to write this post for weeks, but I keep putting it off. What words do I use to try to explain why I’m taking an indefinite break from the little business I started four years ago? How do I convey just how confusing it’s been over the past two years trying to keep up and figure out my next moves. How do I explain how proud I am of myself, how disappointing it is to be “quitting,” but also how exciting it is to quit and perhaps even transition to something else? It’s definitely bittersweet. My heart just isn’t in it anymore, and I can feel that it’s time to move on. I want to say thank you. For the support, the encouragement, the friendships. Thank you, thank you, thank you 💙

Wende from understood the assignment and completely summed me up with the two text bubble shelf sitter signs she sent me for - plants and coffee are definitely my love languages 🪴☕️ And I LOVE that I can leave these little guys out all year round (any other lazy decorators out there?? 😅🙋🏼‍♀️). She also sent a few faux dogwood blooms and four candy canes - one for each member of my family - so in addition to her beautiful decor I can tell she has such a kind heart 😊 A big thanks to for setting this whole thing up - it was so much fun! 💙

My November partner was Jeanne from - after looking through all of her different baskets I could not choose, so I asked her to surprise me and I am so, so happy with her choices! 🧺 Her baskets are gorgeous and so well made - I also love that they could go with pretty much any decor style and in any room of your house!
