My dad says his sinuses are trying to drown him.

He isn't feeling his best, but I would never suggest he is ill. You see, my dad has a super power. His health and recovery time have always bent to his will. Mind over matter, he says. It's pretty impressive, really.

For the rest of us mortals, I offer this Winter health herbal tea recipe.

6 tablespoons dried mint
1 tablespoon dried sage leaves
1 tablespoon dried rosemary, crushed
1 tablespoon dried thyme

To prepare tea, place 1-1/2 teaspoons tea mix in a mortar & pestle. crush mixture until aromas are released.
Place tea mix in tea pot or glass measuring cup.
Add boiling water. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
Strain tea into a mug. Compost herbs.
Stir in honey. Serve with lemon.
