Lunch break inspiration: not all heroes wear capes — some have whiskers. 🐀

Ronin the rat was a record-breaking landmine sniffer who helped clear 109 explosives in Cambodia. He was smart, brave, and loyal — proof that little things can do big good.

Isn't it amazing how one morning you step outside and just suddenly it looks and feels like Fall? I know the season is changing steadily... but it's like a slowly then all at once thing.

Now, after perfect weather here in Southern Kentucky, we're in for the first big freeze. The low temp for next Monday is supposed to be 23F!

Just the thought makes me want to bury myself in thick, soft blankets with a warm mug of hot chocolate, but pets curled all around and on me, and a good book, like Little Hedgehog’s Christmas. It's about friends who brave a storm to share warmth and kindness.

Hedgehog are smart creatures and great pets. 🦔
