Good Morning all you beautiful beings! Sometimes in this life we focus on what we think we want or need, forgetting how many blessings we actually get every day. Don’t be too busy working, too busy with things that we think are important but not really that important. Family, friends, people in general, that’s what’s important. Give your time, show others grace, a meaningful gesture, a helping hand, a prayer and kindness. What better gift to give to anyone than a beautiful memory that they can carry in this life. Court staff will begin selling berry soup and frybread at 11:30 AM to the community and those wanting to enter into the contest. Winner announced after last entry around 1pm

Tribal Court is sponsoring a Native American Week “Where is the Love?” themed event titled “Feed me! Love me!” The activity is scheduled for Thursday, Sept 24, 2026 @ 1PM in the Court parking lot.

Juneberry soup with frybread will be sold for $5. per bowl & frybread to the community beginning Thursday at 12 noon.

The winners of the activity will be announced after 1PM.

Not everyone who purchases berry soup and frybread is required to enter the contest, just encouraged.

Court staff are selling berry soup & frybread to pay out prize money for this fun activity.

Teams of two will enter a timed contest to finish ONE bowl of berry soup & frybread that they purchased. Teams are allowed to purchase more than one piece of frybread to finish the bowl of soup. Each team member must purchase a bowl of berry soup & frybread.

Multiple team entries are accepted and welcomed. One team member can be on more than one team, but must purchase a bowl of soup & frybread per entry.

No utensils can be used 🤷🏽‍♀️only frybread can be used to scoop up the berry soup to feed your partner. Haha 🤣

One team member will blindly feed their other team member by standing behind their teammate. (See photo below)

Whatever team finishes one bowl of berry soup & frybread with fastest time wins! Time stops when ONE bowl soup & frybread they purchased is all eaten.

It is a “Winner Take All” activity.

All proceeds from the sale of berry soup & frybread will be paid to the team with fastest time.

Example: if 50 bowls of soup & frybread are sold @ $5, the winning team takes home $250 😱

The Healing to Wellness team and court staff understand we must help those suffering from addictions/alcoholism, much like this activity by giving (feeding)you the love, support and knowledge (berry soup) to grow & heal.

We believe laughter is also part of healing. Come get your fill of yummy berry soup & frybread and join the fun!

Good Morning all you beautiful beings! Always remember to find time in your day to say prayers for those who have lost loved ones, those who are feeling sadness or just off balance. It really is comforting when you know that others care enough to put prayers up for you. Each and every day we get is a gift and a blessing. We continue to walk forward even when times are tough.
