** These grants are only open to existing Mecklenburg County businesses that have been open at least one year as of Sept 1.

**Business Growth Grant
Best for established, locally owned businesses ready to make a one-time investment that will increase production, sales, capacity, or services.

**Home-Based Business Transition Grant
Best for existing home-based businesses ready to move into a commercially zoned location in Mecklenburg County.

**E-Commerce Grant
Best for existing local businesses—including eligible home-based businesses—that want to begin or significantly improve their ability to sell products or services online.

**Commercial Property Demolition Grant
Best for qualifying blighted or underused commercial properties where demolition could prepare the site for redevelopment.

Tourism Development Fund
Best for new or expanding destination-oriented tourism businesses planning a significant capital investment in Mecklenburg County.

Tourism Marketing Support Grants
Best for tourism businesses, attractions, Chambers, Main Street organizations, and destination marketing organizations seeking professional marketing support to attract more visitors.

Come check out our newest Pro-Level, beginner-friendly disc golf course at Occoneechee State Park!

🎉 Breaking Point Disc Golf Course has passed 1 MILLION steps registered in UDisc! 🎉

Breaking Point Disc Golf Course officially opened on May 29. Since then, UDisc users have logged over a million steps on the course. UDisc is free to download, and has a lot of useful features.

Come see what all the hype is about!

🥏 No discs? No problem! 🥏Stop by the office and borrow a set. We also have brochures with a map and a scorecard available.

Make sure to bring water, and wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothes.

🇺🇸 A one-of-a-kind America 250 experience is coming to the Virginia Lake Festival this weekend!

As part of Virginia's celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution, Mecklenburg County Tourism is proud to sponsor the "Out of Many, One" VA250 Mobile Museum during Virginia's Lake Festival (Lakefest), July 17th & 18th.

This immersive, traveling museum is housed inside a quad-expandable tractor-trailer and is making stops across Virginia to share the stories of the people and events that shaped our nation's founding. Through interactive exhibits, historical artifacts, and innovative technology, visitors of all ages can experience history in a whole new way.

Location: Parking lot behind Hite's Clothing, downtown

Hours: Friday: 5–9PM� // Saturday: 8AM–8PM

Admission is FREE, so while you're enjoying everything Lakefest has to offer, be sure to step inside this unique traveling exhibit. It's a rare opportunity to experience Virginia's story—and its vital role in America's founding—right here in Mecklenburg County!
