There is a myth that "something is better than nothing" in regard to clothing & September 15th marked National Clothing Insecurity Awareness Day. At Sacks we're kind to remember that every donation of upright quality goes miles to shape the confidence & dignity of those who need the basics. Clothing affects social belonging & a well fitting outfit might just provide the confidence boost needed to achieve a goal! When donating remember that your contribution is off to a new life of embellishing the senses of another. Thank you so much to all of those who donate, volunteer, & participate in the thrift cycles. – Sacks Crew. 💚

Enjoy books? We have a ton of them! Help Sacks with pricing, stocking, and keeping our book room in proper order. Volunteers that commit to 8 hours a month will earn 50% off in-store merchandise. The schedule is flexible and can cater to your availability; our ideal scenario would be for a volunteer to do 2 hours per week to keep up with the incoming supply of book donations.

Although we're always looking for volunteers, this is a rare opportunity to take on the responsibility of becoming our liaison of literature, so If you're interested, come on in & introduce yourself or fill out a volunteer application online!

Thank you! – Sack Crew
