"Fragile Masculinity" ...

Part of Jeremy Hatch's "The ReCollection" opening September 11th from 5-8pm during Art Walk⚡ **Wear your favorite super hero t-shirt to celebrate with us!**

"By remaking the hyper-masculine and often violent characters in a delicate, precious material such as porcelain I want to alter and complicate the viewer’s interpretation of the subject."

Made during his sabbatical from teaching at MSU, the action-figure/figurine mashup contains several creative strategies/approaches that are common within contemporary visual art, including ideas of copying, appropriation, recombination and recontextualization in order to arrive at something new. This series also investigates notions of memory and nostalgia, branding, collector culture, and consumerism.

To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we are excited to offer a limited edition of 10 studios for $10,000! Shipping and applicable sales tax not included in the price. To achieve this price point, we have pared down in certain places.
What you get:
* The Mini Dragon Furnace
* The stand/cart is not included.
* The finish will be hand painted instead of powder coated.
* The “Dragon Scaled” Stainless panels will be replaced with painted steel panels.

* Small Top Loading Annealer
