Greetings Fishy Friends,

We at Montana Troutfitters hope you are well in this trying time. As a long time local Bozeman business, we feel it necessary to take a few actions in respect to public health and safety. At this time, we will be altering our hours for the remainder of this week (March 19 – March 22). We will be up and operating from 10 am until 2 pm. After that, we will be using the remainder of the day to keep the shop clean and disinfected. Starting on Monday, March 23rd, due to federal recommendation, Montana Troutfitters will be closed for the week. We will be self-quarantining on the water. With that said, the fishing will be awesome! The weather looks like it is shaping up for a wonderful week. We will be doing our best to keep you updated with the best fishing reports for our local fisheries, and the best knowledge to find success. If you are looking for an update, feel free to shoot us an email at troutfitters.com or to [email protected]. We hope to see everyone on the water! At 6 feet away of course.

Todays the day, Montana Troutfitters BBQ starts at 4:30! Bring a few dollar bills as it is cash only for Beers, Burgers, Dogs, and raffle tickets! There will be a Douglas Fly rod, TFO Fly rod, Winston Fly Rod, Guided Trip, Rising net, pair of Costas, and much more up for grabs! Hope to see everyone there!

2017's BBQ was a great success! Good music, good beer, good food, and good people is a tough combination to beat! We hope to see everyone at this years BBQ! Troutfitters is celebrating our 40th anniversary as a fly shop! We will have good beer (A few kegs more than last year), burgers and dogs, Skavacado playing live music, a guide trip to give away along with a few fly rods and lots of swag for a raffle! It should be an awesome time! We are experiencing some technical difficulties with our website's event page, but the event will take place on June 14th, from 4:30 - 8:30 pm. Feel free to message us or give us a call if you have any questions. Also let us know your coming through our event post for this gathering!
