Thank you to everyone for making our Bativersary so special this past Saturday on Local Comic Shop Day!

When we started Bat City eight years ago the goal was to build a space where community would always be the focal point. We wanted to create something that could help imagination come to life for people of all ages through classes, events, and community.

Four years ago, we picked up our home, our cat, and our comic shop and moved it to Bradenton. It was a little scary, but from day one you have shown up in big ways to help spread the excitement and build the community of Bat City. And every day you remind us that Bat City isn’t about one place, or a space, it’s about the people - all of you, all of us, who learn and create and grow together.

We are so honored to have all of you as part of our lives. Whether you’ve been coming for eight years, four years, or Saturday was your first day - this party, this space, Bat City is for you. Thanks for being our BatFam!
