🚙🧼 KEEPSAKES OF A LIFE LIVED WILD

I learned to drive stick when I was 13,
in an ’84 CJ‑7 that rattled like an old god clearing its throat.
That Jeep didn’t just teach me how to shift gears —
it taught me how to shift myself.
How to move through the world with grit,
with instinct,
with a little bit of wildness I never bothered to tame.

That was the beginning of my Jeep life —
not a phase, not a hobby,
but a thread woven straight into who I am.

And now?
I drive a Rubicon named Hild —
yes, named, because she’s not just steel and bolts.
She’s a Valkyrie in mud and metal,
my emotional support war chariot,
the one who carries me when the world gets too loud
and brings me back to myself when I’ve wandered too far.

I’ve talked to her.
I’ve trusted her —
more than people at times.
I’ve yelled at her.
I’ve thanked her.
And in the middle of all my beautiful chaos —
the making, the dreaming, the rebuilding,
the chapters that feel like a dumpster fire rolling downhill —
I find solace in her rumble,
in the mud,
in the myth of it all.

So honestly…
it was only a matter of time before this part of me spilled into my work.

These aren’t just soaps.
They’re keepsakes.
Little totems of the life that raised me —
the girl in the CJ‑7,
the woman riding with Hild,
the maker who turns chaos into craft.

One‑of‑a‑kind.
Just like me.
Just like her.
Just like every chapter that brought me here.

This isn’t just a product.
It’s a piece of my mythology.
And the saga continues.

Long ago, in 16th‑century Germany, families began weaving evergreen branches into wreaths, symbols of hope that life endures even through winter’s hush. These circles became Advent wreaths, marking the weeks until Christmas with candles of anticipation. Here, they are more than tradition—they are heritage, a nod to Sarah Hutton’s mother, Sally Hayden, and the German roots that shaped our story.

Step into the parlor and you’ll feel it: the wreaths are not just decoration, but portals to memory. They carry whispers of faith, family, and festivity, binding past to present in a circle without end. Their cedar boughs breathe warmth into the cold, inviting guests to linger in the glow of candlelight and the promise of Christmas magic.

This Saturday, we will honor the season along with our guests the way it was celebrated in 1858—where every wreath tells a story, every branch holds a blessing, and every guest becomes part of the circle. 🌲✨
