Mist and Moonlight: The 2026 Pink Moon at Niagara Falls

A stunning view of the Pink Moon rising over the thundering waters of Niagara Falls on April 1, 2026.

Reaching its peak brightness at 10:11 PM ET, this first full moon of spring provided a brilliant natural light display over the falls. Named for the seasonal blooming of wild ground phlox, the Pink Moon appeared with a deep golden radiance as it climbed above the horizon, casting a luminous glow across the mist and the Niagara River.
