After losing Fuzz several weeks ago, I was very lonely and tired of talking to myself. Today I brought Maggie home. she is named for my Aunt Margaret who passed away 5 years ago. I would attach a photo, but she is currently under the couch. I hope that she will venture out in the next day or so, so that we can get better acquainted.

In the next couple of weeks, we will be packing up all of the books and getting ready to move into the new space next door. I am so excited that JAB will have a space all of its own. So if you are thinking about a book or two, stop in soon or what you are looking for may be in a box waiting for the move.

I went in on Monday and completely resorted the fiction section so that it is back to being alphabetical by Author. WE will see how long that lasts after we reopen. I also added some beautiful sets of works by Dickens, Irving, Bret Harte, and Scott. I am happy to ship books during this time that we are closed. If there is something you are looking for let me know and I will see if I have it and quote you a price.

Just learned that the VABA Antiquarian Book Fair scheduled for March 29 has been cancelled. Jackson Antiquarian Books will reopen on March 30. This 2 week hiatus gives me a chance to do some reorganization on the shelves. In the meantime, if there is a book you are looking for, I can mail it to you. Let me know.
