What happens when you take a boy out of Coraopolis and drop him in the marshes of Wallops Island, Virginia? 🌊
He gets Stuck in the Mud. Literally.
Twelve years ago(😱), as a member of the Cornell High School Bio/Chem club, I was knee-deep in the coastal muck of Virginia. That trip was one of many experiences I had to fundraise for during my time at Cornell. From the marching band to Bio/Chem Club, and so much more, I learned early on that if I wanted to see the world and have new experiences, I had to work for them.
Those years of selling hoagies, candy, and whatever else it took didn't just get me to Wallops Island, they taught me the grit and importance of fundraising. It’s a skill I’ve carried with me ever since, and it’s the heart of why I eventually started Penn’s Woods Coffee. ☕️
This year feels incredibly special. The Cornell High School Bio/Chem Club is selling our coffee to fund their upcoming trip!
To honor the "muddy" memories of my own journey, we’ve created a custom roast just for them: "Stuck in the Mud." It’s a tribute to the grind, the growth, and the community that helps you get where you're going. Please join me in supporting these students—let’s get them to Virginia!
