Happy National Farmers' Market Week (August 2-8) 💚

Today, we kick off National Farmers' Market Week throughout Minnesota with our nine Regional Spotlight Farmers' Market with Thank You Sunday, a day dedicated to expressing our gratitude for the incredible people who make Minnesota's farmers' markets thrive.

At the Minnesota Farmers' Market Association, we know that every market day is the result of countless early mornings, long hours, and unwavering dedication.

Today, we celebrate and thank:

The farmers who nurture the land and bring fresh, locally grown food to our communities.

The vendors and food entrepreneurs whose creativity and craftsmanship enrich our markets.

The market managers and volunteers who work tirelessly behind the scenes to create welcoming, vibrant spaces where communities can gather.

Our community partners, sponsors, local governments, and organizations whose collaboration helps strengthen Minnesota's local food system.

And to the customers who choose to shop local, build relationships with farmers, and invest in their communities, thank you. Every visit, every conversation, and every purchase helps keep our local food system growing.

Together, you are cultivating something far greater than a marketplace. You are strengthening local economies, supporting family farms, creating opportunities for small businesses, increasing access to fresh food, and building communities where everyone belongs.

As we celebrate National Farmers' Market Week, we invite all Minnesotans to visit their local farmers' market, meet the people behind their food, and thank those who make these community spaces possible.

Happy Sunday!

Our first patch of SUNFLOWERS opens today! July 26th, 4-8pm

Come for a sunflower stroll through the patch and take in the beautiful blooms! Photo opportunities throughout the patch
$7/person
$20/car
Each person can pick a sunflower to take home

You pick flowers also open during our sunflower stroll 💛
$30/cup, cup included
$60/bucket
Please bring a bucket to transport the flowers in if you pick a bucket ☺️

Patch 1 and 2 are looking great! We will be open each night for sure until August 9th
We will reassess as we desperately need rain to help patch 3 and 4 along
Our sunflowers irrigation is rain, so pray for some moisture to have a blooming August!
