Paul Lubaczewski-Carbide Lamps

Paul Lubaczewski-Carbide Lamps "Returning Light To The Dark Places" All lamps are cave tested. They've really been run. All details will be in the description. Any questions contact me.

I could sell them for more on eBay or at an Antique store for more, but my hope is my customers will love these functional antiques as much as I do,and will actually use them.

Haven't sold a lamp in a while, but this one is all done and heading for it's new home as soon as I box it up.
Suffice to say it didn't look anything NEAR like this when I got it. Ran it twice after I repaired it, was a solid runner

Bought it as part of a grotto lot, caved it in Clay Cave, now away it goes to its new home

Caved with this twice actually, once in Culverson and once in Cave Spring, but I thought I was just testing a sold light and didnt bother with pictures, obviously they backed out.
With the price, obviously there are flaws, the blade doesnt look original but looks like something somebody made as a replacement(and while they put it on got solder in a few unexpected places) it's cracked at the tip of the blade, but it works fine. The other flaw is the wingnut which is the newer nut design which I was never a big fan of.
Other then that good solid running blade mount at a very nice price.

Second first same as the first, same deal as the last $40 lamp, because of a dent or a defect there is a sweet spot in the arm where the dropper works, but it does work. Ran two charges through Snedgars Cave. But again, any defect is a defect,so it's a clean running lamp at a bargain price.

Ok every grotto has had one of these lamps in it's loaner bin at some point. It runs fine, but the dropper only works in a specific part of the range.Through denting or just manufacture,it was usually a Justrite. Im pretty sure this one used to be a Grotto lamp I bought them as a lot.
But it does run sweet, ran two charges through Steeles Cave without so much as a blip. But a defect is a defect, even if it doesnt really effect performance any, thus, the price tag.

Ok the one I'm running here Saturday in Steele's Cave System will be coming up for sale soon. Ran two full charges no prob. It's what I like to call a sweet spot Justrite,if you've run a lot of Justrites youve come across one of these. It has a section of the swing range it works in,but only that section,if you know where,it runs fine. 40$ for a shiny blade mount that runs is a good deal with anyone's money

Ok here's the deal on this one. I got this one as part of a lot of parts from a guy who buys from estate sales. I was able to trace back the YSS etched on numerous bits,so as near as I can tell this was once one of the Yorkshire Speleological Societies loaner lamps, so it would be nice to see it back in caver hands again now that it's fixed up and running.
The model is young Cody Allen in his second cave ever, yes' I was that sure it was going to run well that I tossed it on a newbie. :)
