Book of the Week!!

Absolutely loved this book and it’s the first book in a trilogy so the adventure doesn’t stop with this one!

Murphy Shepherd lives alone on an island, tending the ground of an old abandoned church. He has dedicated his life to rescuing others.

On his way to the “end of the world” to spread the ashes of his beloved mentor, he encounters a woman by the name of Summer in search for her daughter who has been captured by s*x traffickers. Along their route of Florida’s Intracoastal Waterway they meet some unexpected friends, a Labrador they plucked from the ocean and an ex-convict named Clay. Together they race against the ticking clock to save the girl before she is sold internationally, likely never to be seen again.

Book of the Week 📖

This one took me a bit to get through as it’s almost 800 pages but I can honestly say that I’ve never wanted a book to be made into a TV SERIES more than this one! This book had me on the edge of my seat and kind of gave me zombie apocalypse vibes even though it has nothing to do with zombies.

Basically this book is about a girl named Shana who goes to wake her little sister up one morning and finds her sleepwalking through the yard. She goes out to get her and finds out that her sister is unable to be woken up or stopped from walking. Shana follows her and more and more sleepwalkers follow suit as her sister walks near them. It’s a complete medical mystery as their skin can’t be pierced, they don’t eat or drink, they don’t get hurt, oh and they can climb without really grabbing onto anything.

Follow Shana, her sister, the CDC, and hundreds of other sleepwalkers and shepherds as they go hundreds of miles and nonstop days of wandering.

Book of the Week!!

If you’ve never read a Sandra Brown novel, this is a great one to start with! It takes place in 1920, when the Prohibition is law. But in Foley Texas, it’s all about making moonshine and not getting caught. Things get interesting when a ex-soldier comes through town on his way back to being a cowboy, ends up a honorary deputy, and falls in love a Laurel Plummer who is running her own cut throat moonshine for business.

In true Sandra Brown fashion, no one is innocent and everyone is not completely as they first seem.

This book had me turning all 500 pages so fast, that at the end I was hoping there were 500 more.
