Lately my desk has been covered in sketches, mockups, samples, notes, and more coffee cups than I'd care to admit.

While the machines have been busy running orders, I've also been working through a growing list of custom designs for clients.

Some projects will have to remain behind the scenes for now, especially as we head into holiday and gifting season, but I promise there's a lot of creativity happening in the studio.

Thank you for your patience as I continue to balance designing, production, deliveries, and a few exciting new opportunities that are just around the corner.

Sometimes the work you can't share yet is what keeps you busiest. ❤️

This morning, I found myself surrounded by dust, moved furniture, misplaced tools, lasers, plants, and complete chaos as I continue rearranging the shop to make room for a new chapter at Engraving For You.

After pulling up flooring, moving equipment, and spending what feels like days cleaning years' worth of dust, there was a knock at the door.

A beautiful bouquet of flowers.

With a note from Karen at CentralStar:

"Thank you for everything you have done for us."

And just like that, I stopped.

Not because of the flowers themselves, but because of what they represented.

As I stood there looking around the shop, I couldn't help but think about how far this little business has come. The late nights. The risks. The learning curves. The mistakes. The constant push to do better, create more, and serve people well.

For more than three years, I've been working toward something big. And now, within days, a dream I've worked incredibly hard for is finally becoming reality.

My new laser is almost here.

I've spent countless hours studying, planning, imagining, and learning everything I can about what's possible with this new adventure . The opportunities it will create for my business are endless, and honestly, it still doesn't feel entirely real.

This morning's flowers arrived at exactly the right time.

A reminder that the work matters. A reminder that people notice. A reminder to pause for a moment and be grateful.

To Karen and everyone at CentralStar, thank you for your kindness and support. Your thoughtfulness meant more than you know.

And to everyone who has supported Engraving For You over the years, thank you for being part of this journey.

The shop is a mess. The dust is everywhere. But the future is looking pretty beautiful. ❤️

Well… it isn't perfect. 🤩
But for a first attempt on a brand- new process, I’m pretty dang excited. A few tweaks to sizing, pressure, and technique, and we may have a brand-new customization option coming to Engraving For You. 🫪 🔥. Stay tuned… because I have a feeling this is just the beginning 😉 🔥

A quick update from the studio...

The delivery van is slowly coming to life! The hood and passenger side are finished, with more graphics still to come, and today it's heading out on another delivery.

As much as I love creating, there's something special about seeing projects leave the shop and make their way to clients.

Lately my days have been filled with designing, sourcing new products, planning future projects, and bringing current orders to life. The ideas never stop, and honestly, that's one of my favorite parts of what I do.

As we move toward the holiday season, Christmas orders have already begun finding their place on the calendar. To ensure every project receives the care and attention it deserves, holiday availability will be limited.

I'll continue opening additional availability as my production schedule allows, but if you've been considering custom gifts, branded merchandise, apparel, drinkware, signage, or employee appreciation items, now is a great time to start the conversation.

Some orders are special.

Not because of what's being created, but because of the people behind them.

I've known Lisa and Michael Leichtfuss for many years, dating all the way back to when they first got married. Over the years, I've watched them build a life rooted in family, hard work, community, and service. So when I saw the vision for The Farmhouse come to life, I couldn't help but smile.

Nestled on the family farm, The Farmhouse country retreat space is more than a retreat. It's a place with a story. A place where old memories are honored while new ones are waiting to be made.

What began as Lisa's dream of creating a welcoming getaway for scrapbookers and card makers has grown into a beautiful gathering space for creative souls of all kinds. Whether it's scrapbooking, quilting, sewing, crafting, book clubs, workshops, or simply spending time with friends, The Farmhouse was created for connection.

When Lisa recently ordered custom 20 oz Polar Camel travel mugs in navy and olive, I wanted to include a few gifts that reflected the heart behind her business. Along with the tumblers, I created an engraved acacia wood board and a collection of custom slate coasters designed especially for The Farmhouse.

But this post isn't really about the gifts.

It's about a dream.

It's about taking a place filled with history and transforming it into a place where friendships grow, stories are shared, creativity flourishes, and memories are preserved.

To Lisa and Michael, thank you for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. It's been an honor creating for you.

And my wish for The Farmhouse is simple...

May your tables always be full.

May the coffee always be warm.

May the laughter be loud.

May there be endless paper scraps on the floor, unfinished projects scattered across tables, late-night conversations, creative inspiration, happy tears, inside jokes, and so many memories made that no scrapbook could possibly hold them all.

May friends arrive as strangers and leave feeling like family.

And may this beautiful farmhouse continue to tell its story through every gathering, every weekend retreat, every shared meal, every giggle, every cup of coffee, and every memory made within its walls.

A year ago, I caught a glimpse of a dream.

Not a dream of a bigger building or more equipment. A dream of what Engraving For You could become through hard work, creativity, and serving great clients.

This year has taught me a lot. Some lessons were exciting, some were challenging, but every one of them pushed me a little closer to becoming better at what I do.

In the next few days, I'll be taking a big step forward by adding a larger laser to my workshop. The exciting part isn't the machine itself. It's what it allows me to do for my clients. More efficiency. More capabilities. More opportunities to create.

When I look around the studio, I realize I've slowly built quite the team: ✨ 80-watt fiber laser ✨ 80-watt CO₂ laser ✨ Printer ✨ Hat press ✨ Shirt press

And soon, another laser joining the lineup.

I jokingly call them my employees, but each one helps me serve customers better and continue growing the business I've worked so hard to build.

Years ago, right out of high school, I worked in embroidery and ran commercial embroidery machines. Lately I've found myself revisiting those memories and wondering what the future may hold. Maybe embroidery will eventually become the next addition to the EFY family.

For now, I'm focused on what I love most: creating, engraving, learning, and helping bring my clients' ideas to life.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's this:

Don't give up on the dream because it takes longer than you expected.

Keep learning. Keep creating. Keep showing up.

Sometimes the dream isn't gone. It's just waiting for the next chapter.

I’ve been quiet on here — tucked away in my design cave while ice melts in my coffee and my desktop turns into a full‑blown creative tornado.

And then something unexpected happened.
The Village of Brandon Downtown Beautification Committee reached out…and suddenly an idea I started last February lit back up like it had been waiting for the right moment.

Now my screen is covered in sketches, fonts, symbols, and little pieces of Brandon’s story — the fun kind.
The kind you forget we even have.
Like…
the railroad stop that once kept this whole area moving,
the bell tower that’s been watching over us for generations,
and the fact that Brandon had the last legal h**p mill in the entire United States.

Small town. Big history.
And maybe… just maybe…
it’s time to wear it.
