On March 19th Chuck Gries took his last breath surrounded by family at home. After 30 years of guiding on Taneycomo his fly rod has been hung up for the final time. As many of you all who knew my dad the loss of him is a great deal to many including to his wife Lynn and son Adam and myself. He loved fishing and teaching so many amazing people over the years who started as clients and became like friends and family to him. Thank you all for the support you have show him and our family these past years and weeks. We will be hosting a celebration of life at a later date on Taneycomo. Please feel free to share fish stories below because what’s a fisherman without a good fish story.

July 23. Had John and Trebor out this morning. Had a good day and some nice fish. T had a 21”, 19”, and a 18”all rainbows. Before we finished we went down below rebar and had 3 doubles and some singles. All in all great day.

May 28th. Had Joe,Andy,Mike and Kilion on the boat today. Kilion ended up the winner he had a 18” brown and a 19” rainbow. He caught the first the most and the biggest. We had 3 quadruples several triples and a bunch of doubles. Great morning of fishing.

May 27th had Gaylene and John out in the boat. Did some cicada fishing. The fish were big and fat on the cicadas. Always...

May 26 th I had Colton out for a half day wading. Water was off till 8am then 1 generator for 2 hrs and then went up to 2. Caught a lot of fish no matter what the water level was.
