Here’s an eclectic mix that came out of a box found at an estate sale. It consists of beads from many time periods -ancient BCE’s to 20th century, made primarily of stone & glass and from many of parts of the world. How they all ended up on one piece of cotton cord in the bottom of a bin is a story that will remain a mystery.

This account is a humble attempt to spread the beauty and history of these little objects, to keep one of our earliest creations, practices, & ways of communing with the world alive in the shared story of our human existence.
