Several schools in our area will start back up this week. With that being said, let’s go over a few things to remember for the 2026-2027 school year!

- ALWAYS keep an eye out for students walking or riding bicycles. 🚶‍♂️🚲

-SLOW DOWN in the school zones. Deputies will be out hot and heavy patrolling school zones, ensuring the safety of our students.⚠️

-ALWAYS stop for school buses displaying a stop sign. We’ve attached a picture below on when you should stop for a loading/unloading bus. Failure to follow this law can result in hefty fines. 🛑

-Please be mindful of the heavy traffic, especially in the first few weeks. With everyone getting back into the groove of things, it may be congested. Be courteous and find alternate routes as needed.
