The Rustic Relic shop in Downtown Breaux Bridge is now closed. I know, WHAT?? What is going on?
As the sole owner of The Rustic Relic, I have decided that the time has come to grow as an individual jewelry designer and artist. This means taking a giant leap and I am soooo ready!
Truly, this has been an incredible 6 years of growing with the community and sharing handmade treasures and local artist’s works. What talent we have in our beautiful South Louisiana! I will miss the days of having my sweet mother crocheting her necklaces in the shop while sitting in her cozy leather chair. I will often reminisce about the side by side studios that my little sister and I shared. What a dream to have adjoining work spaces with your favorite person! I think this is the hardest part to say goodbye to. And If you have been in our shop, you most likely have met Jill and our shop dog Coco. Jill has been a great blessing to the business and was the perfect person to help the shop grow. She also kept it looking fresh and beautiful! Jill will always be like family to me and a cherished friend. And then there are the artists!! Many friendships have been formed over the years and I will miss them so much. I will continue to enjoy some of their works in prominent areas of my home.
Looking forward, I am excited to spend quality time with my husband and family. Intentionally! And most importantly, I am SO READY to focus my efforts where the Lord is leading me. I will be sharing my jewelry line, Crown of Grace Designs, at art festivals, Junior League events, and online in my growing Etsy store. I will put the link below if you would like to check it out. I would also be honored to have you like my page Crown of Grace Designs where you can see what I am up to and be the first to see the new designs that I craft out of gold bronze clay. Many times I show the process of how gold bronze is fired. I think it’s pretty cool and I hope you do too!
This move has happened much sooner than expected, but I am trusting the Lord and believing that the circumstances leading up to this decision have helped to make it much easier to walk through that door. I am choosing to view this as an opportunity. Thank you Jesus for making this clear for me.
