Hard to believe I wrote this post a year ago today..lake is in worse shape..still only ramp safely(tread water) to use for now is the dam..we have plans to reopen when we get enough water to float some docks or use the bridge boat ramp. The only thing about being closed this long has been a blessing in disguise to make me take time for my feet/legs to heal which has been an extremely slow process. Just to find out back issues are a huge part of the problem. So rest/ice surgery in future sometime..for now focus on minding the doctors and realizing that we can’t do anything about the low lake level but PRAY that we will see a blessing of an abundance of rain this year!
Thanks for everyone that has reached out and offered words of encouragement, and remember we will be back, we are just taking a long well deserved break..just longer than we wanted to!!
