Schmaltzy schmaltz·y (SHmältsē) adj. 1. excessively sentimental. She used this word often, although I never quite knew what it meant.

After losing my "Granny", Margaret Money, in May 2013, whom I believe passed down her crafty genes, I was inspired to create Schmaltzy. Shortly after her passing I googled "schmaltzy" and suddenly it meant so much more to me. schmaltz·y (SHmältsē) adjective 1.excessively sentimental.

Thrift score today! This candle retails for $250 and I found it for $7!!! I may have squealed in the store. 😂
