We took off for an overnight trip to see some friends visiting the Oregon Coast.
(10/10 would recommend, especially with cheese and ice cream involved)
Since my husband was driving, I was able to finish off some of my bat stash that I've been building up. Keep an eye out for some of these at upcoming markets.

All set up for the weekend! I'll be at Spring Daze at Town Square Mall in Port Orchard today from 9-5 and tomorrow from 10-4. I've got a batch of freshly baked kitty loaves I'll be adding throughout the day as I finish stitching them up. Can't wait to see you there!

We're celebrating all that Rimbert Illustration has done for our community with Makers Day! Join People's Exchange and Rimbert Illustration for a day of making art with several different art tables set up and all proceeds for the day going to benefit Rimbert Illustration.

Makers Day - A Pay To Play Fundraiser
Saturday, May 30th 12-4pm
at Rimbert Illustration 617 N Callow Ave
Entry starts at $10 per person (donate more if you'd like!). Buying your tickets in advance is appreciated! Payment at the door day-of is also welcomed.
- Fun for all ages (but adult supervision required for kids at the block printing station)! Families welcome!
- Tie Dye Station - Bring cotton clothing to make some swirls! We'll have free clothing available too
- Crafting Station - We'll have canvas, paint and crafting supplies galore for self-led art making
- Lino Block Station - Carve and print with linoleum blocks, we'll help to teach you the basics (kids supervision required) to print paper cards and even clothing! Bring a cotton tote or tee to print on or we'll have free clothing available too
- Merch Table - We'll have a specially curated merch table with lovely items for purchase!

This is one of those "yes, and..." type posts as a small business owner. Yes, I do make all my things, AND I also keep up with all my display and canopy maintenance.
The weather is great and market season is quickly approaching so it's time to prep my canopy!
It's not the prettiest job, but I added a seam sealant across the seams and then sprayed tent waterproofing spray across the rest. Whatever waterproofing this originally had has lessened by normal wear and tear and surviving 2 atmospheric rivers last October. Hopefully this is all it needs to keep me dry for another year. 🤞🏼
