Friday is Dolly Parton Day!

When we lost Dolly last month, we knew we wanted to do something in her honor but we're unable to put anything together quickly in the moment.

However, with 9/25 being the unofficial Dolly Parton Day we now can honor her generosity and legacy of children's literacy.

1. All children ages 0-16 that come in to The Book Nook during business hours on Friday 9/25 can choose one free book from either the freebie cart we will have out for this purpose, or any used book we have in stock coded for the Kids or Young Adult section.

2. 20% of all sales made on 9/25 will be donated in the form of a check to our local Imagination Library branch, The Imagination Library of Nacy Carol Roberts Memorial Library of Brenham. Can't make it in store that day? All online sales made through our BrenhamBookNook.com website (and paid for within 24 hours) will also be included!

3. We will have forms in-store (while supplies last) that will allow you to sign up a local child to receive Imagination Library books every month, as well as forms to allow you to donate directly to The Imagination Library of Nancy Carol Roberts Memorial Library and sponsor one or more children yourself if you wish.
