Mark your calendars! One of Aiken’s most beloved traditions returns to downtown for a milestone celebration. Aiken’s Makin’ marks its 50th year Sept. 11–12, opening at 9 a.m. each day for two full days of shopping, strolling and celebrating creativity.
The event stretches along Park Avenue between Chesterfield and Union streets, with booths lining the street and leafy parkways. The tree-lined setting, friendly smiles and vibrant displays create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
With original artwork, handmade crafts, festival food and a welcoming community atmosphere, Aiken’s Makin’ is more than an arts and crafts show—it is a cherished Aiken tradition. Each year, this juried arts and crafts show brings together more than 200 talented artisans from across the Southeast.
