This is your sign to PUT DOWN THE WATER! 🌱✋🏽👀

If your plant is looking realllllly sad and you’ve been watering it regularly, giving it more water isn’t going to help. In fact, it could be making things worse!

This is one of the most common issues we talk about with customers who are struggling with plant care. Sometimes we love our plants so much that our first instinct is to give them a little more water… but they may actually need the opposite.

If the leaves are turning yellow, brown, or dropping like crazy, take a minute to check what’s happening with the soil and roots. You may be dealing with root rot or soil that’s staying too wet.

So before you reach for the watering can:

STOP. CHECK THE SOIL. CHECK THE ROOTS. Use a moisture meter—we sell them in the shop!

If the soil is still wet, give it some time to dry out appropriately for your particular plant and do a little research (or ask us!) before watering again.

And remember: planter size matters! Plants in pots that are much larger than their root systems can hold onto moisture for a long time, which can lead to unhappy roots.

Sometimes your plant isn’t asking for more water… it’s just asking for a little breathing room. 🌱🤍

September is here, fall is just around the corner, and there are plenty of new reasons to stop in & see us.

New houseplants, pots, gifts and seasonal finds will be trickling in throughout the month as we transition into fall. And if you’re already thinking ahead to October, our fall classes are officially up on the website with two dates available for each class. Space is limited, so grab your spot while you can.

Also, October is bringing back our Makers Market Series on Saturdays. We’ll be welcoming back our favorite makers and small businesses to the shop throughout the month, making Saturdays even more of a reason to stop by. Plus, our greenhouse gets decorated for spooky season soon—we can’t wait.

October Workshops
Tickets are available on our website, and you can use your TG gift card toward your workshop ticket. Just enter your gift card information at checkout. All fall classes are BYOB + we will have light bites & sips as well for you!

Private Events
Looking to plan a private gathering, birthday, girls’ night, team event or something of your own? Email us at [email protected] to inquire about booking a private event. Don’t forget the shop is tiny—we can fit about a dozen people comfortably.

Greenhouse Rentals
Our shop is full and our greenhouse is currently open for photo/mini session rentals. Please note that the plants in the greenhouse space are stock/display plants and are not currently for sale. They’re being used for backdrops, displays and propagation until we turn the greenhouse over for the holidays—then they’re all yours.

FALL CLASSES ARE HERE 🌱🤍🍂

Our fall workshop calendar is up on the website and we’ve added two dates for each class so you have more opportunities to join us.

Think cozy fall afternoons, plants, creativity, good company, and a little time for yourself. We also added a fun spooky kids class for ages 5 and up!

All of our adult classes are BYOB, and this fall we’ll be serving up light bites and sips to make the experience feel extra special & get you into the spirit of autumn.

We keep our classes intentionally small, with just 8 spots available so everyone has plenty of room to create, learn, and enjoy the experience.
