A SHORE THING Hi we're A Shore Thing,
offering nautical decor and more since 2013 A Shore Thing is a family business at Captain’s Cove Seaport in Bridgeport, CT.

We feature handmade custom shoreline décor, sea glass jewelry, Mystic Knotworks bracelets, and interactive children’s crafts and activities including a Touch Tank of Long Island Sound sea life. Creatures like sea stars, horseshoe crabs, sea urchins and moon snails are among the favorites, providing a fun way for all ages to learn about the fabulous resource practically in our backyard. tion the Asian Shore Crab races! Themed events such as Castaway Day with steel drums, hair braiding and lei giveaways, Pirate Day with our staff in full pirate dress with pirate props, face painting, and audience participation games and prizes. Always on hand are mermaid crafts, make-your-own beach necklace or message in a bottle, as well as sea glass jewelry making. A Shore Thing is open from May through September on the boardwalk at the seaport, and available year round
