How many people does it take to remove a 900 lbs crated projection screen from a truck? The answer is 9 people and one small backhoe we have in our arsenal. Some special thanks to our truck driver and Deb Hicks who scheduled this delivery from Indianapolis with great precision landing it here on time to meet our wonderful unloading crew. Also appreciate Peter for stopping by to manage the unload to avoid a potential disaster.

At Steelpointe In Bridgeport served to keep us busy running sound and visuals in a lobby space at the facility.
The room was lousy with politicians.
Yet it all ran perfectly as a series of speeches were made to launch this new facility. Gift flawlessly ran the video cues while I ran sound. In addition, we rolled out our new press feed that no one used. The event emcee Frank Borres kept things running smoothly and on time! Another year with CAES! Too many years to count! Full day of prep and load, a full day of setup for (3) and a full day of the event and strike. Great event out on the farm! This is a day I look forward to as we enjoy working for great people on a beautiful location. In Addition it great bringing technology in for the purpose of educating those who enjoy this annual free event.

Candidates debate last minute…..
This event is a great example of how quickly Avdavey can mobilize an event rental. Our client from New Orleans emailed us from a flight up here to Connecticut in the mid morning hours on Monday. Despite losses in communication during the flight we were are able to piece together her requirements to write an order just three hours later. This rare request for three clear podiums required a two hour round trip drive in order to acquire the third one which was stored in our Danbury office. Long story short we were able to acquire that podium and deliver the entire order at 8 o’clock that night. The following morning they were able to set up our uplights for Drapes that were coming in Tuesday morning. This all happening during the midst of the biggest show that we have operated over the last six months!

4th year with Belimo at the Ethan Allen Hotel providing a full range sound system, Draped wall with two 7’ x 12’ screens projected on by two 8500 lumen Projectors. In the rear the control area is quite ample with two digital consoles running the audio & video aspects of the meeting. We also provided 3 breakout rooms and power grid for 21 trade show tables. This also marks Felix’s 3rd time operation of the show and his Birthday as well!

Working with Workplace today as they commission a new bus to carry on their mission of training the jobless for entry into the workforce. Sound podium and background music today in a parking lot in Bridgeport. Plenty of sun today! Lucky to be hiding in the shade behind my van. Glad to be out here today enjoying the weather and the people!

Barmitzvah audio in Westport. When you do an outside service with a Rabbi a guitar player & readings from audience members you need multiple mics of different types and someone to control those mics. I’m happy to say it was a success and the Barmitzvah boy, Rabbi, the guitarists guitar and vocal and the readers were all clearly heard. I used a gooseneck mic set low to make it less visible to the audience. Mom did not want a mic blocking her son’s face. Well we have a solution for that.

Some wonder what a 12’ x 16’ stage looks like before it goes up. So here’s a few pictures from a graduation stage setup at Achievement First in Bridgeport. It’s nice having the dolly pictured which makes moving the pieces super convenient! An extra bonus there is seeing my name on the amp rack every time I walk through the gym door. Today I setup on their brand new gym floor. Very pristine!
It’s a pleasure to work for the school!
