🌕🌑 LUNAR ECLIPSE TOMORROW NIGHT! 🌑🌕

West Virginia, don’t forget to look up tomorrow night! On Thursday, August 27, we’ll get a fantastic view of a deep partial lunar eclipse that will cover almost the entire Moon.

We will be hosting a viewing party at the store starting at 9PM if weather permits.

🌙 What to expect:
Viewing party begins at 9:00 PM
The eclipse begins around 9:23 PM
The noticeable partial eclipse begins around 10:33 PM
⭐ Maximum eclipse: 12:12 AM
The partial eclipse ends around 1:51 AM

At maximum, nearly the entire Moon will be inside Earth’s shadow, and much of it may take on a beautiful dark red or reddish-orange color. Even though this one isn’t technically a total lunar eclipse, it should look very close to one!

👀 No telescope or special glasses are needed. Just find a spot with a clear view of the sky, give your eyes a few minutes to adjust, and enjoy the show.

📸 And if you have a camera, tripod, binoculars, or telescope, this will be a great night to get them out!
