Don’t you hate it when you have a great drive on a par 4, completely fudge your approach shot, and get stuck with a par :/

Approach shots can make or break a round, especially on a longer course. They can be the difference between -2 and +2 at the end of your day.

Spent time creating breakthroughs with Brett recently.

Brett has been disc golfing for a couple of years now, and has been trying to clean up his backhand to gain more distance, accuracy, and consistency. We went out to Homefield Disc Golf course to do some field work, and in MINUTES we diagnosed and began correcting his primary form constraint: a weak brace. After a couple reps, he was already throwing 50 feet further!

Approach shots are INCREDIBLY simple, yet for whatever reason, I see so many players (myself included) make them far more complicated than they need to be. In this video I break down the foundation of how you should step up to an approach shot. I hope this helps!

YOUR BALANCE SUCKS!!!

I’ve come to notice that a lot of disc golfers, both new to the sport as well as experienced players, have issues getting “all of their distance” and hitting lines consistently..

They try a whole bunch of different fixes:
-get a new disc (same😅)
-adjusting their stance
-watch a bunch of YouTube videos and do nothing about them (also same😅)

This simple drill can help
- realign your stance
-develop fluidity through your throw
-link up your timing

Give it a try, and if it works, recommend it to one of your friends who looks like gumbi out on the course😂
