Sometimes in life a little rain must fall.

And a few snakes must crawl.

And prehistoric nails find their way into tires at the landfill. Thank the good Lord I know a guy.

On a good note, the "Welcome" sign is up at the Vendor Mall. Four days and counting!

WE PASSED OUR INSPECTION with the City of New Bern! Y'all! We are soooo excited! The planning and zoning board has been amazing to work with. They have been so helpful and patient with us!

We had one emergency light not working and E.L. Electric Contracting sent someone right to us so the inspector would pass us today! If you EVER need electrical work, CALL THEM! 252-351-1400. We are blessed and favored.

The entrance sign is up you you can find us NEXT THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8TH, when we OPEN FOR BUSINESS at 10 am!

Eeeeeeek!!!

Today, we locked the doors for the last time and turned over the keys. What a big, fat, wild ride from the day we first met Joe Anderson and practically begged him to rent us this building. We had huge dreams and ideas about all the things we wanted to do with that shop and the land.

We are filled with gratitude for all the folks who showed up to be vendors and start their small businesses inside these walls. We are overwhelmed at all the people who came to shop - even from Raleigh and Wilmington. Alot of wheeling and dealing went on inside those doors.

The new location opens OCTOBER 8th at 10 am.

With air conditioning. Same fabulous vendors plus some new ones and even more treasures waiting to be revived.

Thank you Joe for all the encouragement and support.

Here's a few pictures of the D Street journey. It was a marvelous ride.

See y'all soon.

Nothing to see here folks...just two huge glass display cases going across the Trent River headed to the new store!

It's all fun and games when the Skil saw comes out. Wish we could have put this on the roof at the new shop!

One step closer!
