Welcome to my page! I’m Keena. I’m a corporate executive (Head of Human Resources) and a single mom to a wild, hilarious, amazing 5-year-old boy who keeps me on my toes. 😅
Like a lot of people, I’ve spent years doing the responsible thing, building a career, climbing the corporate ladder, and pouring myself into helping build other people’s businesses. And while I’m proud of that, I’ve hit a point where I know life is too short not to take a shot at building something of my own, doing something I genuinely love.
Somewhere along the way, fragrance became that thing for me. What started as a hobby turned into a real passion, and now I’ve decided to do something a little crazy and start building toward my dream of opening a brick-and-mortar perfume boutique here in Michigan… because honestly, I live in a total perfume desert. (IYKYK)😂
So I am building The Sniff House 🖤✨
If you’ve seen some of my fragrance posts in groups, you might assume I’m just out here hawking perfume for a profit 😅 but that’s honestly not the truth. I’ve been building relationships with fellow fragrance lovers, brand owners, wholesalers, and distributors while trying to get my nose on absolutely everything possible. Sharing deals, discounts, and fun finds with others has just become part of the hobby… and if I’m being honest, it’s probably the only thing that has kept me from going bankrupt in the process. LOL.
Until I can get the doors to my boutique open, this page will be my little corner of the fragrance world, where I’ll share perfume education, beautiful finds, occasional special offerings, and updates as I figure out what it looks like to turn this dream into something real. Some things may come from my personal collection as I refine inventory, learn what people love, and build toward something bigger. I also want to engage my community to get their input on big decisions like branding, which houses to source, etc.
I have absolutely no idea exactly where this journey ends, but I know I’d rather take the risk than spend the rest of my life wondering what if?
