9/18- Hi friends, it’s been a minute! Here’s a few updates!

We’re wrapping up a few commissions and projects for the fall, but promise we’re still here.
We will be open this weekend, Saturday 9/20 and Sunday 9/21, until dusk and we really hope you check out some new things on the stand 😉
We are donating a portion of profits to the Popeye Animal Cancer Foundation by way of ACIC Canton, Michigan. It’s an incredible cause, so here is the link with more info (http://www.veterinarycancer.com/popeye-animal-cancer-foundation)

We decided with the amount of flower loss from the storms, we will not be attending any other markets this season, but we will still have fresh-cut flower bouquets on the stand as long as the plants produce - they usually finish up mid to late October. The heirloom chrysanthemum are just starting to come in and they’re SO PRETTY!!!

Don’t forget we have fresh wildflower honey from Heffernan’s and locally made artworks, including pottery made right here! Our fall and winter collection is slowly trickling in over the next few weeks so you have a chance to buy some really early gifts for your peeps. We are almost sold out of our dried flower wreaths! Farmstand is open and stocked until 5pm with limited fresh cut flowers, honey and handmade goods! Closed Sunday and Monday this week for some much needed rest. We’ll be back next week with some back to school vibes!

Power is back but we’re holding off on opening the stand due to the storms today, and will be canceling our attendance at Whitmore Lake this Sunday ... Our flowers took a huge hit😰. Hopeful they will bounce back in the next weeks but man… we can’t catch a break lately.
Sending everyone one love, especially those affected by this chaos. Well update you soon. In the meantime, we hope everyone has a good holiday weekend and tell your fur babies we say hi.

This September, we’re doing things a little different in lieu of our Rescue of the Month.
Losing Howard in July has been devastating, and we’ve been trying to honor him everyday, wherever we go, in whatever we’re doing because he meant so much to us.
A few years ago, Howie was diagnosed with a rare cancer. He underwent surgery and was monitored closely over a couple of years by the amazing staff at Animal Cancer and Imaging Center (ACIC) in Canton, Michigan. During his visits there, we learned about a foundation organized by a former patient’s family- The Popeye Animal Cancer Foundation, a 501c to help families dealing with financial difficulties pay for cancer treatments of their beloved pets. No one should have to struggle with this burden, next to knowing your best friend has cancer.
ACIC, along with his other vets, gave us more time with Howard - we all know how precious time is. We want to tell everyone about this incredible foundation and hopefully raise money to help other families have more time with their fur babies too. We thank every single veterinary staff member at ACIC, VCA Hamburg, and all the vet personnel we hold dear in our hearts for the amazing care Howie received throughout his final years. We miss him beyond words. 🧡

Happy Friday!
The stand is open this weekend (8/28-8/30) noon to dusk and we’ve got fresh flowers, fall decor and lots more.
It’s our last weekend collecting donations for our buddies at Keller's Cause and the weather is supposed to be great so stop by!

I’ve had a few people reaching out about deliveries and subscriptions. Please shoot us a DM if you’re local to Brighton and interested in either of those things. Keep in mind we are “small batch” so it will be first come first served.

While things wind down, we will only be attending a few more markets, but the stand will remain open most weekends throughout the Fall.

This year has been exponentially TOUGH. We’ve had very few sales from our stand compared to past years and had to attend way fewer markets because of .. well if you’ve followed us for a bit, you know why 💔We know things are tough for everyone right now. We just want to say thank you so much for the continued support. Just engaging our posts means a lot. And we’ve helped a lot of animals this year despite it all.

It’s Fall! Well… almost. Sorta… not yet. Want it to be!
Been making some things though! And hope you like them.
All of the flowers were grown here, right down to the wreath frame (from our weeping cherry tree). Finding new ways to be creative and stay distracted/focused/not sad. DM us if you’re interested (local only), but these will be available on the stand starting today and at the market through September. ✨ witch vibes.. let’s go!
